MARIANNE SIMON DESIGN

I had the nicest email in my inbox yesterday from Seattle based designer Marianne Simon. Because she and I share the same name and spelling she sent me a little note saying "hi" and introducing herself. And guess what? Her work is amazing! She is super talented and I'm so happy to have "met" her (isn't it funny how we "meet" people online?)

I wanted to share her great work. It's classic, classy, simple, and sophisticated. Her style reminds me of my bff Darryl Carter.

    What a nice surprise to see your lovely post! So thrilled we have connected. It's good to know you also have the same BFF as me :). Darryl is my design idol and what a nice compliment. He can do no wrong in my eyes! The best part is I got to meet him in person last May in NYC. What a dream! P.S. I'm working on a post about you right now!

    It's refreshing to see such lovely rooms that are livable and inviting. So much of what I see on line is not practical or way over the top. Clicking over to Marianne's site right now. Thanks for sharing!
