1. My TWO HOMES in the Avenues are getting close to being finished! I need to take pictures of the progress because this is what I started with...
But look at this exterior - I love the French feel it has. We painted it a creamy color with the black shutters and it looks so fresh. Can't wait to show you the pics!
2. I've been working on an OFFICE SPACE downtown in a cool old industrial building. I've never done an office before so it's been a little challenging. The space is so big and everything is x 20, like 20 wastebaskets and 20 chairs, etc. It's hard to know how it's all going to look together. The office should be finished in a couple of weeks and I'll post pictures then. If you've been following me on Pinterest you have seen the many "pins" of reception area chairs, conference lights, etc. Here are a few things we ended up buying...
CONFERENCE ROOM LIGHT
BENCH FOR RECEPTION AREA
COWHIDE RUG FOR RECEPTION
FAUX LEATHER WASTEBASKETS
And we haven't bought these chairs yet, but I'm going to try and convince them since they are a little pricier, but don't you think these would look so good in the reception area?!
3. And finally, I'm trying to be a good MOTHER to my girls and preparing for EASTER dinner at my house for 34 people. Yes, that's right, 34! This should be interesting. My table decoration is about all I have ready and it only consists of a sisal rabbit from World Market and potted flowers from the grocery store. Kind of pathetic :)
Anyway, lot's of fun updates and pictures coming in the next couple of weeks! Keep in touch!
So good to see you posting again! My you have been busy! I can't wait to see the finished product! That avenues house is SO cute looking.
ReplyDeleteYour table looks great. I did a post on some easter tips on my blog the other day. There is a bunny napkin that would look so cute with your table! http://houseonrene.blogspot.com/2012/04/easter-pinterest-pin-up.html
I love the chandelier and sconces in your dining room. Will you share your sources? Your blog is inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThank you! My sconces are Visual Comfort (from Circa Lighting) and they are called the Small Sussex Sconce (http://www.circalighting.com/details.aspx?pid=2438). The chandelier is by Crystorama and I bought it from Horchow who has it on sale right now (http://www.horchow.com/store/catalog/prod.jhtml?itemId=cprod67660142).
DeleteThank you for asking!
