TRIED AND TRUE - OVERSTOCK SIDE CHAIRS

Hi all! Hope you had a great weekend. We have another Tried & True to share with you from one of our favorite online retailers - Overstock!  For the dental office that we recently completed we wanted some sturdy accent chairs that wouldn't take up a lot of room, we also wanted to incorporate some fun fabrics into the space. We found this set of 2 carved leg chairs for under 300! Although the description says white these definitely have the antique white look to them - not true bright white.

When they arrived we were very impressed with the quality - especially for less than $150 per chair. The light gray fabric was nice and could work in so many different rooms, but we needed something that made more of a statement. We decided to have them redone in mint buffalo check fabric, and for a unique look added a navy welt.

This is a great basic solid and sturdy chair that is fabulous for customizing. We loved the way our chairs popped in the space. Can't wait to share more details with you from this project, our photo shoot is coming soon! Our favorite element is the contrasting welt, which adds a graphic element to the chair. I think I'd enjoy waiting for the dentist a little bit more if I sat in one of these babies. :) Anyone have any fun re-upholstery projects going on? We'd love to see them!
