IKEA BOTANICAL REVIEW & SO MUCH MORE

A couple of weeks ago we headed to IKEA to pick some things up for the new office space. As I (Jamie) mentioned in a previous post, I wanted to pick up the new Sibbared Botanical Print after loving the botanicals in this space.

I love the graphic feel of of the color against the black - and the $19.99 price is insane, especially for the size! Its almost 3 by 4 feet. I have a lot of empty wall space in our new home to fill, so this was perfect for my minuscule budget. After purchasing I still wasn't sure how I felt about it, but now that its up I love it!

It plays perfectly with my newly-recovered chairs. I highly recommend picking one up. I think it could look great anywhere, kitchen, hallway, etc.

Here is where we get to the so much more part of this post. I also work doing creative development for
Mirabella Beauty. Last week we did our yearly photo shoot in L.A. and I got to work alongside Adir Abergel. Adir is the hairstylist for so many celebrities it is insane. Kristen Stewart, Gwenyth Paltrow, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel, Reese Witherspoon, Charlize Theron etc.. I spent most of the day trying to pump him for information - Are Kristen and Rob back together? Did Anne cry when you cropped her hair for Les Miserables? Important stuff! He was a closed book, except he did tell me that Jessica Biel picked a pink dress because all of the other details in her wedding were white and she wanted to stand out. (Yes, he did her hair in Italy when she married my boyfriend Justin). The other really important thing I needed to know was... PLEASE, WHAT IS THE BEST DRY SHAMPOO? I have tried SO many, and spent SO much $ and they all fail on my fine hair. Too stiff, turns gray, the list of horrors go on and on.

He gave me a bottle he was using on set. Batiste original dry shampoo. And it has been a complete GAME CHANGER. So I am trying to pass on the love. The best part. It's only $7.99. You can get it at Ulta or Sally's.  Buy it. Use it. Love it. The end.
