Next to our pool is a large area of cement. Yesterday as we looked at what we wanted to do with the backyard, Jon and I decided we definitely wanted to add more grass to the backyard. I was thinking about extending the grass all the way up to the pool like they do in these pics...what do you think? Do you know if it gets muddy and gross with the grass so close to the pool?
I like the idea of grass right next to the pool--tile, etc..can get so hot. The grass also provides a nice natural cushion for lying out, playing, etc... I think that when the grass fills in and fully takes hold,there should be no problem with it becoming slushy and muddy--probably thick,thick sod is best for this area.
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted a Hampton's style pool! I love the concrete and grass right up to the edge... wonder how you mow without getting all the grass in the pool??
