SERENA & LILY LATEST BUYS

I recently bought a few things from Serena & Lily that I was so happy with I thought I would share them with you. (btw, this is not a sponsored post) But I do have to say that S&L is definitely one of my favorite go-to online stores. It's definitely not my affordable go-to, but they have such great pieces and many of them are reasonable for the amount of style they add to your home.

My biggest purchase from them was the Bruno Chair for a client...
+ The BRUNO CHAIR is to die for! This might be the most comfortable + stylish chair I have purchased for a client yet. And the minty leather is SO fantastic. Love, love love. Seriously, this is worth the $2500 (for leather). I am trying to find a spot in my house for one of these. Maybe in the cotton fabric at a more reasonable price of $1350?

chairs just placed - not styled - and color is more like the product photo in real life

+ For myself I bought the CELERY JAIPUR SHOWER CURTAIN that added just the right amount of color and pattern to my bathroom. And the fabric is nice and thick and canvas-y. I got this at their "private sale" for email subscribers, so make sure you sign up if you aren't already!

+ And also the CADIZ RACING STRIPE RUNNER - exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a linen table runner, but I didn't want it to be too plain. This fit the bill. I love the stripe down the middle and I opted for the beige and navy color, but I love the sky blue runner as well. And of course the macrame is possibly the best part.

Now that I've treated myself to some fun new accessories, I guess it's time to buy something for the father's in my life :) But can I just say that my husband is seriously the best father to our children. Choosing him for my husband was possibly the best decision I've ever made, and I'm glad we have days like Father's Day where we can honor the men who show up (and those who don't) and are great (or not so great) fathers.

Happy Father's Day!

RIVIERA SIDE CHAIR IN CLIENT'S HOME

OUR REVIEW: +++ (out of 3). I bought these for a client's dining area and when they arrived (very quickly, I may add) we were so happy with them! My client had ordered these through me after buying wicker chairs from Pier 1 that were less than stellar chairs with the kiddos (one of the chairs had a hole in the wicker after a week!). So we decided it was worth it to spend a little more money and get these chairs and they are definitely worth every dime.

The woven plastic is perfect for spills, and the construction is really solid - her kids have stood on them, spilled on them, and tipped them over with no breaks or problems. And the best part in my opinion is how cute they are! We ordered them in the Navy (my fav color), but the other colors are really nice as well.

I highly recommend this chair to anyone - especially families with young children.

Do you own these chairs? What do you think about the Riviera chair?

GRAPHIC RUGS - CLASS IT UP

We have a couple of clients right now who are looking for rugs for their home so rugs are at the forefront of my mind. And here's what I'm thinking as I'm looking through all these rugs...there is a fine line in the graphic rug department between cool and classy and trendy and expected.

Graphic rugs have been a favorite for a long time because they add some pattern to a room and aren't as traditional as oriental or indian rugs. Here are some of my favorite graphic rugs that achieve the coolness while also being very high-end looking.

My favorite rug designer...Madeline Weinrib
